Thirty Days of VictorySample

It can be tempting to try to control our way to victory. We try to make things work in our favor along the way. For example, we choose the people we want to work with to be most successful on projects. Or, we pick the team with the best track record to win on our fantasy leagues. While in some small victories we can do this, in larger ones, like winning in life, relationships, and leaving a legacy, we must relinquish control to God.
God is sovereign, and the psalmist highlights this in Psalm 33. God created the world with merely a word and is in control of everything from the tiniest bird's flight to the large waves in the oceans. Nothing happens outside of his domain, and he has power over all things. This means that we can count on his strength and power for our victory. Why? Because he has chosen to love us and make us his children! He wants to strengthen us and help us succeed. We can trust him to do this, and when we give him our trust, he will do amazing things in our lives.
