Load SecurementSample

Day 2–Solid Gear, Properly Strapped Down
Devotional:
When you secure a heavy load—machines, steel beams, or pallets—you don’t grab a cheap strap from the hardware aisle. You use professional gear that’s tested, strong enough, and fit for the weight. Because if your gear fails, everything ends up on the road.
It’s the same in your spiritual life. Saying “I kind of believe” isn’t enough. You need solid spiritual equipment: faith, truth, righteousness, the Word of God. Those are like chains, binders, and straps. They hold you in place when the storm hits.
Reflection:
What “tie-downs” am I using in my faith? Do I rely on my own experience, or am I equipped with God’s truth?

About this Plan

Day after day, thousands of truck drivers climb behind the wheel of their rigs. They check their brakes, their mirrors, their load—because properly secured cargo is often a matter of life and death. One unexpected turn, a sudden stop, or a rough stretch of road can put everything to the test—not only for the driver, but for everyone around him. In our spiritual lives, it’s the same. We carry a priceless load with us: God’s love, His truth, His calling over our lives. But how quickly can that be lost if we don’t secure it well?
