While We Wait - Living in Expectancy for Christ's Return (For Women)Sample

Day 6 - Listen While We Wait
As servants of the Lord, we must listen attentively—listening to His Word, listening to His Spirit, and listening with hearts ready to obey. When young Samuel heard the Lord calling his name in the night, he responded, “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” While we wait for Christ’s return, may we not only hear His voice, but also live each day in readiness by making wise decisions, doing God’s will, and walking in obedience, so that we’ll be fully prepared when the midnight cry sounds!
Reflection Questions:
1. How intentionally are you listening to God’s voice in your daily life—through His Word, His Spirit, and circumstances around you?
2. What areas of your life need to reflect readiness for Christ’s return through obedience and faithful living?
3. How can you actively live each day in a way that prepares you for the midnight cry?
Closing Prayer:
“Lord, help me to hear Your voice clearly and respond with a heart ready to obey. Teach me to live each day in readiness, walking faithfully and serving with purpose, so that I am prepared when You return. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
