Day 15: A Child is Born
Daily Thread: The prophets were God’s messengers, called to speak His Word and call the people back to covenant faithfulness. Some prophets spoke primarily to the northern kingdom of Israel, while others addressed the southern kingdom of Judah after the tribes divided. Isaiah, speaking to Judah, foretold the coming of a child who would reign in righteousness and peace. This promise of a future king was rooted in the covenant with David and pointed forward to the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
