Raising Kingdom-Minded Children in a Broken World - 30-Day DevotionalSample

Day 21 – Weekly Prayer: Lord, Strengthen My Children to Stand for You
Scripture: “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13 (NIV)
Reflection
This week has reminded us that our children will face challenges from culture, friends, and the world around them. The good news is that God has promised to be their strength. Our role as parents is to prepare them and pray for them, trusting that He will help them stand firm.
We cannot protect our children from every difficulty, but we can cover them in prayer and point them to the One who never leaves them. As we end this week, we commit our children to God again and ask Him to give them courage, strength, and faith to live boldly for Him.
Biblical Affirmation for Your Children
“My children will stand firm in the faith, courageous and strong in the Lord.”
Prayer
Lord, I place my children in Your hands. Strengthen them to stand for You in every situation. Fill them with courage and faith to shine as lights in this world. May their lives always honor You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
