Rooted in Your True IdentitySample

Hidden and Chosen
As time passes and I gain more years as a believer, I also grow more dependent on God. My security is not in how strong my faith is but in how good my Savior is. Scripture says your life is hidden with Christ in God. That means your truest self is secure, untouchable by the changing opinions of others. You are chosen, called out of darkness into God’s marvelous light. That identity rests not on your achievements but on His grace.
Quote (Tim Keller): “The gospel is this: We are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe, yet at the very same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.”
Respond to God’s Word: Write down ways you’ve sought identity in things like work, status, or accomplishments. Surrender those to God, and thank Him for choosing you.

About this Plan

So many people search for identity in their careers, achievements, titles, or the recognition they receive from others. But those things can fade, shift, or be taken away. As followers of Christ, our true identity is anchored in something unshakable: who we are in Him. This plan will walk you through Scriptures that reveal what God says about your identity and how to live from that place of truth.
