Unleashing FaithfulnessSample

The Bible isn’t a random collection of stories—it’s a demonstration of God’s faithfulness and love throughout the generations. Through the trials faced by people in the Bible, we’re reminded that God never left their side and gave them the strength to endure any hardship that came their way.
As we witness the written Word of God, it reveals God’s character; His unconditional love and never-failing faithfulness. Through the stories in Scripture, we’re encouraged to endure and place our hope in Him. When our life and circumstances are challenging, we can turn to God’s Word for hope and cling to it for light when the world around us feels dark. We live in a fallen world in which we’ll continually face trials, temptations, difficulties, and dangers, but we can be resilient. And we can rest in the knowledge that Christ died and rose again so that we might be made a new creation in Christ. True hope and endurance in the midst of trials don’t come from us but from trusting in God’s grace, love, and promises.

About this Plan

It's easy to look at characters from the Bible, early church leaders, and even modern-day leaders and assume that the goal is to have an extraordinary faith. Does that mean that faithfulness is marked by the extraordinary? This devotional will look at the words Paul left for his young friend, Timothy. As someone who lived an impressive life of faithfulness himself, Paul outlined how we can do the same in every area of our lives, no matter our circumstances.
