Preach With Power! Proclaiming the Kingdom of GodSample

The Gospel of the Kingdom
Mark 1:15
“The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the Gospel.”
From the very start of His ministry, Jesus preached one clear message: the Kingdom of God is near!
But what does that actually mean?
A kingdom always has a king. And this King was Jesus, the promised Messiah, foretold centuries before by the prophets.
Isaiah 9:6–7 predicted Him as:
"Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace..."
Daniel 7:13–14 says:
“He was given authority, glory, and sovereign power... His kingdom will never be destroyed.”
Jesus came to bring a new Kingdom: one of joy, peace, and righteousness.
The Kingdom is not just a future hope—it began with Jesus Himself!
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that You are our King. Help me understand what the Kingdom of God truly means, and let me be a part of it. Amen.
Reflection:
- What does it mean to you that Jesus is the King of this Kingdom?
- How does this change your perspective on your own life?
