Go After Jesus: The Adventure of a LIfetime!Sample

Day 6: Jesus Enters Your World
📖 Matthew 4:18–20
đź’ˇ Go After Jesus Principle #6
When Jesus calls you from something, it is always because He is calling you to something far greater!
✍️ Devotional Thought
When Jesus called Peter and Andrew, they were doing what they always did—fishing. He stepped into their ordinary world and transformed it with one invitation: “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
That moment shows us something powerful: Jesus comes into your everyday life and calls you to something greater. He doesn’t wait for you to be in a church setting. He shows up in the middle of work, school, family, and routine.
When Jesus asks you to leave something behind, it is never to deprive you but to lead you into greater purpose. The disciples dropped their nets, their source of comfort and security, but what they gained was a calling that changed the world.
What “nets” are you still holding onto? Jesus invites you to trust Him enough to let go, believing that what He has for you is far greater than what you leave behind.
âť“ Reflection Question
What is one “net” you’ve been reluctant to release in order to follow Jesus more fully?
🚀 Today’s Challenge
Take a small step today to loosen your grip on that net—pray over it, share it with someone, or take one action of obedience.
🙏 Prayer
Lord, thank You for stepping into my everyday world. Help me let go of anything holding me back and give me faith to follow You to something greater. Amen.
