Why We Can Be Confident in the Lord: Devotions for Girls (I Am Fearless)Sample

As we grow in trusting the Lord, fear will pop up sometimes. When that happens, we can turn to God and He will drive it out. Is there something you are afraid about right now?
Give your fears to the Lord by talking to him about them. As you walk forward in the days ahead, be fearless and focused on God because He has great purposes for you! But remember to have faith---not in circumstances---but in Him.
Reflection:
Is there something you're afraid about? Write about it.
How can you let God help you let go of that fear?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that I am Fearless. When I'm afraid, would You please drive it out so I can fearlessly trust in You? In Jesus' name, Amen.
Action:
Create a beautiful sign that says in big bold words, "Perfect love drives out fear. I am Fearless!"

About this Plan

Everyone is afraid sometimes. But what do we do with those fears? In these devotions, girls will gain wisdom about releasing our fears to the Lord and walking confidently in Him. These devotions are based on the "I am Fearless" chapter from "I am Yours: Prayers For God's Girl" by Wynter Pitts. Each devotion has a short teaching, reflection question(s), prayer, and action step. On their own or with a parent, girls can enjoy connecting with the Lord and growing in their faith a day at a time!
