Being a Witness for Jesus: This Is How You Do ItSample

Witnessing with Your Life
Matthew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
People don’t just listen to what you say—they watch how you live.
You can use beautiful words about Jesus,
but if your life doesn’t match your words, your testimony loses its power.
James 2:17
“Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
That’s why Jesus says: Let your light shine.
Not only in your words, but in your behavior.
Want to witness effectively?
Don’t just tell people the Good News—show them what God has done in your life:
● Live with forgiveness
● Live with love
● Live with humility
● Live with peace
People will ask: “What’s different about you?”
And then you get to say: “That’s Jesus.”
John 13:35
“By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”
Prayer:
Lord, I don’t just want to talk about You, I want to reflect You with my life. Let my behavior show Your love. Make me a living testimony of Your goodness. Amen.
Reflection:
- What do people ‘see’ when they look at my life?
- Does my behavior reflect Jesus?
