30 Days of Delighting in the WordSample

Day 10
“I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.” - Psalm 119:16 (NKJV)
We all have the choice of where we place our delight. Choose to delight in God’s Word. Make His Word be what you look upon and hope in. Remind your soul that God is good and His ways are perfect (Psalm 18:30).
Make time throughout the day to read God’s Word so that you may not forget it. We need to stand upon the Word daily. Read and memorize God’s Word to stand firm in the faith every day. Desire to know God’s Word and not to forget it.
Prayer: Jesus, I delight myself in Your Word. I will not forget Your Word day and night. I want to know Your Word in the Bible from the front to the back.

About this Plan

God's Word was never meant to be a burden, but a delight. This 30-day plan will guide you through Psalm 119, a chapter that emphasizes the beauty and necessity of meditating and obeying God’s Word. Each day you’ll pray through a verse from Psalm 119, asking the Holy Spirit to give you revelation and understanding of Jesus in the Word. As you commit to meditating and praying Scripture, you’ll cultivate a hunger for God’s Word and a heart to obey and delight in His Word.
