Overcome Insecurity

DAY 2 OF 5

Now let's address the second question that every human being asks themselves, even those who do not believe in God: Who am I? From which stems the insecurity regarding our identity. Moses also asked himself this question, as we read in verses 11 and 12 of chapter 3 of Exodus. In fact, in verse 11, Moses asks God: "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?" Here is the insecurity: the fear of not being up to the task, of not being prepared enough, strong enough, courageous enough, mature enough, or young enough. We think that this challenge or this step of faith is not for us, that we do not have the right qualifications to obey. We feel like "nobodies"! But God does not think so. For Him, we have great value. He knows us better than we know ourselves and knows what we are capable of doing thanks to His Presence and His Power within us.

Even if until today you have not valued or esteemed yourself, even if you have not felt up to the task, choose to believe that God considers you capable and that He has chosen you!

God Himself gives you a new name and a new identity in Christ Jesus today!
