The Origin of Our StorySample

Living in God's Story
In a world rife with competing narratives eager for our allegiance, political ideologies, cultural trends, and personal ambitions attempt to define us. Yet, as believers, we are called to dwell within God's grand narrative of redemption and restoration. Reflect on ways you have been tempted to derive your identity from stories other than God's. Imagine what a life fully aligned with His story might look like today. Identify one specific area—perhaps in your view of success, approach to conflict, or allocation of time—where you can consciously choose God's narrative over the world's. Allow God's story to be the foundation from which all your choices, priorities, and sense of identity flow.
Prayer Prompt: Ask God for clarity and courage to align your life with His story. Pray for discernment to see where you've been swayed by other narratives and for strength to live according to His call.
