The Greatness of God: The Greatness of God's Wisdom God’s wisdom is beyond the comprehension of man. As man continues to discover new things and marvel at the wonder of the world we live in, through the studies of the cosmos, sciences and even the human body, we can’t help but marvel at the vastness and depth of the wisdom required for this universe and even life to exist (Ps 104:24)! There is indeed no limit to His wisdom (Ps 147:5). Not only is our God’s wisdom seen in His creation, He is also a God that knows all things even the deepest thoughts in our hearts and minds. Our God is also a personal God that knows and cares for everything in our lives (Ps 139:1-3). He watches over us and are constantly involved in our lives, sometimes even beyond our awareness and acknowledgement. No one could escapes His knowledge for we are accountable to Him (Heb 4:13), and no one knows us better than our Creator God, the Maker of heaven and earth (Job 12:13; Rom 11:33)! The journey of discovering Jesus and knowing Him, how God brought the various people and circumstances in our lives to reveal Jesus to us, is no coincident. Since the beginning of time, God already has a plan, through His great and perfect wisdom, to call us to Jesus and be a community of people that belongs to Him in Christ! Despite of His great plan to redeem man, God considers every one of us as individuals, calls us to Him for a greater purpose of revealing Himself to those who have not yet come to know Him. He wants to work in us and through us but only if we allow Him to and partner with Him. REFLECTION • Sometimes when you do not understand the things that happened to you, have you considered the greatness of God’s wisdom that is at work in your life?
