Peace with God – 2

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. … For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! … So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. … Christ in you, the hope of glory. … Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. … Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
