The Story of GodSample

‘Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Isaac.’ Genesis 21:3 (ESV)
Can you trust God? This story is a powerful reminder that you can trust God even when your circumstances say you shouldn’t. Abraham and Sarah were well past their prime at this point, but that didn’t stop God. The same God whose Spirit ‘hovered over the face of the waters’ in the chaos of our unformed planet is the same God who can bless an elderly couple with a baby. Why did He choose to do this? He did it because they were a critical part of his plan to redeem their people, the Jewish people, and the rest of the world, too, because Jesus was a physical descendant of Abraham. This story teaches us that God keeps His promises, and He is faithful despite our sinful actions (Abraham having a baby with Hagar). Even when none of it makes sense, God will work it all out, and he will keep his promises.
Question:
Do you think God can do the impossible in your life?
