Renew Your MindSample

THE GOD OF PEACE GUARDS YOUR HEART
Reflection:
God’s peace doesn’t just calm us—it protects us. The Bible says His peace “will guard” our hearts and minds. It’s like a spiritual wall that keeps fear, anxiety, and hopelessness from taking control. But this peace comes as a result of handing our worries over to God in prayer (see the previous verse, Philippians 4:6).
This doesn’t mean we’ll never feel anxious, but it does mean we don’t have to live trapped by it. When we choose to trust, pray, and give thanks, God works. We may not understand how He does it, but His peace settles in—quiet and powerful—guarding our hearts and minds like only He can.
Reflection questions:
- Are you letting God’s peace guard your heart?
- What prayer do you need to pray today to let go of control and trust Him?
