Struggling With Loving the Man You MarriedSample

Day 2: Speak Life, Not Labels
Words are powerful. They either build up or tear down. And if you’re not careful, you can find yourself speaking more about what your husband is not, than who he’s becoming in Christ.
It’s easy to label him based on past mistakes, immaturity, or even present struggles. But when you speak what God says—when you call him a man of integrity, a strong leader, a faithful husband—you partner with heaven to water the seeds of his purpose.
Even when you don't see the fruit yet, speak life. You are not lying—you are prophesying.
Scripture for Meditation:
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits."
— Proverbs 18:21 (ESV)
Prayer:
Father, help me use my words to build, not break. Let me speak prophetically over my husband, calling out the man You created him to be. Silence every lie the enemy tries to plant in my heart and mouth in Jesus name.
Action Step:
Pray intentionally for your husband's heart, mind, and purpose.
Ask God to show you how to love him the way He does. Take time to listen for God’s response—and then, when the moment feels right, share with your husband what you felt God placed on your heart.
