FAITH: YOUR BRIDGE TO DIVINE PROVISION
One of the most vital ways God channels resources to His people is through the deliberate exercise of their faith. Sadly, many believers mistake murmuring and emotional prayers for faith. True faith is not based on emotion; it is rooted in the Word. Faith asks: What word of the Lord are you standing on? Without a scriptural foundation, you are not in faith—you are simply complaining. God honours His Word, not our worries. I want you to rise from emotional praying into faith declarations. If God said it, believe it and declare it until you see it.
I’ve never had a reason to consult the devil, and I will never have one—because my God is good, and He provides. What I need is insight into how to connect with what He has already made available. He’s not withholding; He’s inviting. The Bible says, “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing” (Psalm 34:10 KJV). That’s why I believe God for everything. On one occasion, we were trusting God for meat—not out of lack, but because we were exercising my faith. After returning from church, we saw a bag at the door with a note from a long-lost family member. Inside was meat. That’s how precise God is.
If God can think about meat in your stew, how much more your pressing needs—final exams, hospital bills, or critical financial matters? The issue is not God's ability but your faith. Once you establish the truth that God is your Shepherd, you will never justify compromise again. Your security is in His provision, and your portion will not be withheld when your posture is right.
THOUGHT TO PONDER:
Am I truly exercising my faith, or simply hoping and complaining? What word from God am I standing on for the provisions I need today?
PRAYER:
The Lord is my Shepherd; I will never lack any good thing. My supply flows without fail in Jesus’ name. Amen.
