Instructive Pathways to Kingdom WealthSample

THE POWER OF DIVINE LEADING: FOLLOW THE SHEPHERD OR WALK INTO LACK
The antidote to want is not more labour, hustle, or education—it is divine leading. “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want – Psalm 23:1 KJV.” Want begins when following ends. Once you are no longer following the Shepherd, or you are following another leader entirely, want becomes inevitable. To follow God is not about lip service or religious routine—it means letting Him speak into your decisions and waiting for His direction before you act. The sheep does not dictate to the shepherd. Who is leading your life?
This question must hit you deeply: Who is the counsel behind your life choices? When you picked your spouse, course of study, city of residence, or job—was it God’s voice or someone else’s influence that guided you? Are you living according to divine strategy or merely following opinions from family, friends, or culture? Many people end up in cycles of frustration because they make life-altering decisions without divine input, yet expect divine results.
God leads His people to a wealthy place, but He does not force anyone to follow. His guidance leads to green pastures and still waters, but if you insist on choosing your own path, you may find yourself in barren lands. Even if your current season feels dry, trust His leadership. There is no future in rebellion, but there is always provision in obedience. Let the Shepherd lead you—daily, deliberately, and in full surrender—and you will never walk in lack.
THOUGHT TO PONDER:
Have I truly allowed God to lead me, or have I been following my own desires or others’ opinions? Am I ready to surrender every decision to His Shepherding voice?
PRAYER:
Father, I give You lordship over my life. I choose to follow Your leadership daily. Lead me to the green pastures You have prepared for me. Amen.
