Head/Heart/Hands Questions Day 4 of 30 (Mark 1–8)
Hope you’ve listened to the Audio Bible! Now, take some time to meet with your group. Below are some sample questions to guide your conversation, but feel free to add your own too.
🧠 Head (What did the passage say?)
- What key events—such as Jesus healing the paralyzed man (Mark 2:1–12) or calming the storm (Mark 4:35–41)—show His victory over sin, sickness, and nature?
- Where do you see baptism identity—like Jesus’ own baptism in the Jordan (Mark 1:9–11)—reflected in these chapters?
- Which person or story best demonstrates compassion, such as Jesus healing the leper (Mark 1:40–45) or feeding the 5,000 (Mark 6:30–44)?
- What teaching—like “take up your cross” (Mark 8:34–35 NIV)—challenges common ideas about discipleship?
- How do moments like the sending of the Twelve (Mark 6:7–13) reveal God’s mission through Jesus?
❤️ Heart (What does it mean for me?)
- Which verse—such as Mark 4:39—gives you hope about Jesus’ victory in your life?
- How does remembering your baptism identity encourage your walk with God?
- When have you experienced or shown compassion like Jesus in Mark 1 or 6?
- How does Jesus’ teaching on taking up your cross challenge your priorities?
- How does seeing God’s mission in Mark 6 deepen your worship?
🤲 Hands (How will I live it out?)
- Share one story of Jesus’ victory from Mark 1–8 with a friend this week.
- Live out your baptism identity today in a simple way—through obedience or public witness.
- Show compassion to someone in need, inspired by Mark 1 or Mark 6.
- Take a step this week that reflects taking up your cross.
- Thank God for His mission by writing a prayer or sharing your testimony.
