Head/Heart/Hands Questions Day 12 of 30 (Acts 11–19)

Hope you’ve listened to the Audio Bible! Now, take some time to meet with your group. Below are some sample questions to guide your conversation, but feel free to add your own too.

🧠 Head (What did the passage say?)

  1. What key events—such as the sending of Barnabas and Saul from Antioch (Acts 13:1–3) or Paul’s missionary journeys—show the church’s mission in Acts 11–19?
  2. Where do you see examples of faithfulness, like Barnabas encouraging believers in Antioch (Acts 11:23) or Paul persevering through opposition (Acts 18:9–11)?
  3. Which person or story best demonstrates conversion, such as Lydia’s faith (Acts 16:14–15) or the Philippian jailer’s salvation (Acts 16:29–34)?
  4. What teaching—like Paul’s message in Ephesus against idols (Acts 19:23–27)—challenges common views about worship and false gods?
  5. How do events like the joy in Antioch when Gentiles believed (Acts 11:18) reveal God’s joy over people coming to Him?

❤️ Heart (What does it mean for me?)

  1. Which verse—such as Acts 13:47—gives you hope and motivation for God’s mission?
  2. How does the faithfulness of believers in Acts 11–19 encourage your own walk with God?
  3. When have you experienced or witnessed a life-changing “conversion” moment like those in Acts 16?
  4. How does Paul’s stand against idols in Acts 17:16–31 speak to your own values and priorities?
  5. How does seeing God’s joy over new believers in Acts 11:18 deepen your worship?

🤲 Hands (How will I live it out?)

  1. Share with someone this week one truth you learned about God’s mission from Acts 11–19.
  2. Commit to a simple act of faithfulness today, inspired by Barnabas, Paul, or other believers in these chapters.
  3. Encourage or mentor someone who is new in their faith, as seen in Acts 16.
  4. Remove or avoid something in your life that competes with your devotion to God, following Paul’s example in confronting idols.
  5. Thank God for His joy over every new believer—through prayer, a note, or sharing a testimony.
