In this famous parable, Jesus is answering the question of a man who wants to justify his actions, so he is seeking an exact definition of "neighbor" he is supposed to love.
Jesus knows the man's heart, and challenges his definition of "neighbor." When Jesus tells us to love our neighbor, does he refer to only our geographic neighbors? Does it refer to only those of the same religion, same skin color, same financial status or only those in our political party?
Pray and ask Jesus what "neighbors" He wants you to start loving and caring for in a more intentional manner.
