Today’s short passage is worth reading three times.
The first time, simply read the verses and reflect on them.
On your second read, substitute the word wisdom for the wisdom of the Lord, for Proverbs 9:10 (ESV) teaches: “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”.
Finally, reread the passage again and replace the word wisdom with Jesus, remembering 1 Corinthians 1:30 (ESV): “you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God”.
Today, ponder this: Each time you read over these verses, consider: Do I believe this to be true?
