Noah’s Flood

Noah’s story is often told as a story of animals and a boat. But at its core, it’s about obedience in the face of uncertainty.

God told Noah to build an ark before there was even a drop of rain. People laughed at him. He likely questioned himself. But he obeyed. Genesis 6:22 NIV simply says, 'Noah did everything just as God commanded him.'

Obedience doesn’t always make sense. It may look strange to others. It may feel uncomfortable. But it is the path to God’s provision and protection.

There may be something God is asking of you today. Maybe a conversation, a step of faith, or a sacrifice. You may not understand the why, but your yes could be the doorway to a breakthrough.

When you walk in obedience, you align yourself with God’s will for your life. Trust that God sees the flood before you do. And he’s preparing something that will carry you through it.

Reflection: Is there something God is asking you to build, start or surrender, even if it doesn’t make sense yet?

Prayer: Lord, give me faith to obey even when I don’t understand. Help me to trust Your voice over the noise around me. I want to build what You’ve asked me to build. Strengthen me to follow You, step by step, as I walk in obedience. Amen.
