Jesus was kind.

Jesus said that whatever we want others to do to us, we should do the same to them. This means that if we want others to notice us, we should notice them first. If we hope our classmates can be friendly with us, we can start by being friendly to them first. If we want our classmates to be kind, it’s great to start by extending kindness first. Jesus said we should consider how we would like to be treated and treat others the same. Isn’t that a wonderful way to show love to others?

I can be His hands and feet
To spread His love to all
I can share and help and give
So no one feels too small!

Question & Activity:

Take a look at the list of your classmates from yesterday. What is one kind thing you can do for each of them at school? Is there a new classmate that you can say, “Hi!” to? Have you noticed someone sitting alone whom you can invite to play a game with you? Can you share a special snack at lunch with someone new?

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for Your kindness. Help me treat others how I would want to be treated.
