New Testament Chronological Reading PlanSample

Whereas Matthew, Mark, and Luke have much overlap in content, the Gospel of John stands as the most unique. Upon decades of reflection, the Apostle John gained greater insight into why Jesus performed certain miracles and said certain things. Likely writing to a Jewish Christian audience, John writes his gospel to show how so many motifs of the Old Covenant find their fulfillment in Jesus, the very image of God.
