Peace Over Panic: A 5-Day Devotional for Anxious HeartsSample

Day 3: Finding Calm in the Chaos
Scripture:
"Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10
Reflection:
Sometimes anxiety feels like a storm inside you — loud, confusing, and overwhelming. But God invites you into a quiet place, a space where you can just be still. Still doesn’t mean ignoring your feelings; it means choosing to pause and let God’s peace calm your heart.
When the noise in your mind gets too loud, take a moment. Close your eyes. Breathe deeply. Remember that God is bigger than your fears, and His presence can bring peace that no one else can give.
You don’t have to fight anxiety alone — God is right there with you, ready to calm the storm.
Prayer:
Lord, help me slow down and be still in the middle of my worries. Remind me that You are in control, and Your peace is greater than my fears. Teach me to rest in You even when life feels chaotic.
Challenge:
Take 5 minutes today to sit quietly, breathe deeply, and say Psalm 46:10 out loud. Notice how your body and mind begin to relax.
