In the aftermath of a disaster, it is not uncommon for survivors to cry out to God — even if they have never had a relationship with Him. We are made to cry out to our Creator. And even if people are simply crying out — even if they don’t know Who they are crying out to — God still hears them.

Pray for survivors of the deadly Texas floods who don’t know God personally. Pray they will see His hands in their lives, and that the global Church will continue uniting to tangibly express the love and care of Jesus during this tragic time. Pray that people who are grieving will cross paths with followers of Christ who can point them to practical help and living hope. Pray they will feel His supernatural, all-surpassing peace and comfort despite uncertainty and grief.
