12 Basic Christian DoctrinesSample

7. The Doctrine of Satan
Satan, a fallen angel, is real and active, tempting and deceiving, to pull us from God. He’s not a myth but a defeated foe, crushed by Jesus’ cross and resurrection. His lies may roar, but they have no ultimate power over those who belong to Christ. For centuries, believers have overcome him through faith and God’s Word. In a world of temptation, stand firm in the One who has already won.
Application:
Identify a temptation you face. Submit it to God today, and resist the enemy by clinging to Scripture and prayer.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for defeating Satan through Jesus. Help me stay alert, resist temptation, and trust in Your victory over evil. Amen.
