How to Achieve a Faith ProjectSample

Yesterday, we discussed that the first step in achieving a Faith Project is identifying what you already have—your starting point. The second step is seeking the knowledge required to move forward. Today, we’ll dive into steps 3 and 4.
3. What mindset or fear do you need to overcome?
Job 3:25 says, “For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.”
Fear was a driving force behind Job’s troubles. Fear can block your faith and prevent you from taking action. Identify the fears holding you back—fear of failure, fear of lack, fear of inadequacy—and confront them.
4. What favor do you need from others?
Nehemiah 2:5–8 shows Nehemiah asking the king for permission, protection, and resources to rebuild Jerusalem. Because of God’s favor, the king granted his requests. Likewise, think about what favor you’ll need—whether from a boss, investor, official, or someone in authority—and be ready to ask for it with boldness.
To advance your faith project, you must overcome both internal fears and external challenges. Start by confronting any limiting beliefs or fears. Then, identify the support or favor you’ll need from others to fulfill your assignment. Be ready to confidently ask those in authority for what you require, trusting that God will act on your behalf. Pray the following prayer to internalize today’s ideas.
Prayer
Father, I thank You for revealing the fears that have hindered my progress. I release every mindset of doubt and inadequacy, and I receive Your peace and courage. Give me the boldness to ask for favor from the right people, and let Your divine favor open doors that no one can shut. In Jesus’ name, amen.

About this Plan

A faith project is when God instructs us to pursue something we currently don’t have the resources to achieve—for example, buying equipment, leasing office space, or hosting a global conference without having the necessary funds. God often gives believers with entrepreneurial callings projects like these. In this devotional, learn a Bible-based approach to thinking through and achieving the faith project God has called you to undertake.
