Winter Warm-Up Sample

"But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." — Psalm 56:3 (NLT)
Fear is something we all face; whether it’s fear of failure, rejection, the future, or something more personal. David wrote this psalm while being pursued by his enemies, yet even in that terrifying moment, he made a decision: "I will put my trust in You."
Trusting God doesn’t mean fear disappears, but it does mean we’re no longer ruled by it. I remember a time when I had to make a major life decision and fear nearly paralyzed me. But when I chose to place my trust in God’s character instead of my own understanding, peace began to fill the space where anxiety once lived.
Today, identify one area in your life where fear is speaking louder than faith. Write it down and then prayerfully surrender it to God, choosing to trust Him one step at a time.
Prayer:
Lord, when fear rises up in my heart, remind me to trust You. You are bigger than my problems, stronger than my fears, and faithful in every season. Help me walk in faith today, knowing You are with me. Amen.
