The Old Testament today may feel like watching a movie trailer—giving exciting glimpses of what’s coming, but only fully understood when the full story unfolds in the whole film. Every prophecy, every story, every symbol was a preview, leading to the full story of JESUS!
When Moses applied the lamb’s blood to the doorposts in Exodus 12, it wasn’t merely about escaping Egypt—it was a prophetic symbol of Jesus, the Lamb of God, whose blood would bring salvation to all who are in His house. When Samson stretched out his arms in death, it wasn’t just a dramatic moment—it was a foreshadowing of the cross. Every story and every event prophecy in the Old Testament pointed directly to what Jesus would do..
And then, Jesus came and fulfilled it all. His miracles were signs of what we could experience in Him, but His true mission was The Cross. If He had healed thousands but never died, His purpose would be unfulfilled.. That was always the plan (Acts 3:18).
Today, don’t just look at the Old Testament as Christian History—see it as God’s intentional buildup to Jesus. And now, because of Him, we are living in the fulfillment of that promise. The story is complete, and you are part of it.
