New Life
In John 3, Jesus is answering questions from one of the religious leaders of Israel. He introduces him to the idea of being ‘Born Again’. So what does this mean?
When we choose to follow Jesus as our Saviour, we are born again, coming alive to Jesus, and starting a new life with Him that lasts for all eternity. We are now called children of God
In 2 Corinthians 5:17, we read that when we belong to Jesus, we become a new person and we step into new life, leaving the old way of life behind us.
In the story of the lost son, we see the son reject the privileges of being a son. Despite this, the Father lovingly welcomes him into the household as his son, regardless of his past actions. This is how God responds to us.
