He Is My ProvisionSample

Day 1
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
God the Father is not only interested in our finances, but in every area of our lives. Jesus came to earth to give us salvation, life so that we might walk with Him and live for Him.
By expressing in Psalm 23:1 that we shall not want if He is our Shepherd, the Father clearly gives us a vision of a Father who provides.
We know that one of God's names is YAHWEH JIREH—The Lord Provider—and YAHWEH ROHI—The Lord is my Shepherd. Here, God is presented to us as the One who provides, but also the One who cares for and feeds.
God provides humanity with the means to draw near to Him through Jesus. The Word of God says in John 14:6: Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Through Jesus, the Father showed us a love as great as that spoken of in John 3:16, knowing the need we would have for Him in every area of our lives.
Through Jesus, God gave:
* Provision of forgiveness.
* Provision of salvation.
* Provision of healing.
* Provision of love.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
