Power On!Sample

When Hezekiah receives a letter that is full of intimidation from a formidable enemy, he does one powerful move that changes the course of his nation.
In an act of dependence and faith in God to fight for His people, Hezekiah takes the letter to the temple and lays it out before the Lord and prays. God sees his faith and intervenes, deploying His angel to slaughter 185,000 enemy soldiers in a single night to save the nation.
How do you respond when you receive intimidation? The next time someone wants to pick a fight, take it from Hezekiah: hold fast to God, lay it before the Lord, and He will fight for you.
Prayer:
Lord, please give me strength to hold fast to You when I am tempted to let go. Help me to lay all intimidation at Your feet and allow You to fight my battles. Amen.

About this Plan

With Jesus, we want to go from "standing by" to stepping out! Through these readings, experience stories of when God led people to turn "on" their spiritual power and saw the Holy Spirit move through them. God is ready to do miracles on Earth, but we can miss out on what He is ready to do by staying in the boat like Peter nearly did. These Scriptures will encourage you to step out of the boat and see the Power of the Holy Spirit move!
