This chapter is closer to what is typically thought of as prophecy. It is predicting what it will be like in Jesus’ Kingdom. It is referred to as “the mountain.” One day Jesus is going to return and make everything right. Everything that is bad will be destroyed. We still look forward to this prophecy coming true today. Some days, a person’s longing for everything to be made right can be very strong. When we long for that, we are actually longing for Christ’s Kingdom.
