Winning battles on the way to winning the war
Let’s face it. Life is full of battles ranging from all-out major contests to seemingly insignificant skirmishes. Some we face head-on and others sneak up on us out of nowhere. No matter what or why, or how challenging, in the heat of battle we must remember that we’re never alone in the fight. With God’s help, we can face and overcome whatever comes our way because the ultimate victory is not ours to win alone. God fights on our behalf.
The truth we find in scripture is that our journey is not defined by individual victories or defeats but by our tenacity in continuing to trust in God’s faithfulness. We may stumble along the way, but failure is never the end. What matters is the courage to press forward, knowing that God is with us in every battle. Each small victory along the way strengthens us, building our perseverance and faith.
With Christ as our strength, we can face each battle with the confidence that the war is already won. The struggles we encounter are not permanent. They are temporary steps on the path to the ultimate victory in Christ.
Next time you feel like you’re in the trenches, covered in mud with bullets whizzing past left and right, take heart knowing that every battle we face, no matter the size, the significance or how tough it feels in the moment, brings us closer to that final victory.

About this Plan

“Sometimes, in what we think is defeat, God is positioning us for something far greater – a deeper relationship with Him, a greater understanding of His race, and a victory that far exceeds our expectations” (Victory Doesn’t Always Feel Like A Win – Susie Holt). If you find yourself in a challenging season, be encouraged by this plan as you learn about the victory that you have in Jesus!
