The Lion and the LambSample

Jesus, Our Lamb and Our Lion
This Easter, we're not choosing between the Lamb or the Lion. We're following the One who is both. Jesus is striking in holiness and meek in mercy. He roars with justice and dies with love, risen in surrender. From the first chapter of the Gospel of John, we're commanded to look — behold — the Lamb of God. He is the King who is coming, and He comes into our world in sacrifice and humility. The Lion who reigns is the Lamb who was slain. This is our Jesus.
Reflection: What part of Jesus' personality do you have to examine further— His strength or His surrender?
"The message of Easter is that God’s new world has been unveiled in Jesus Christ and that you’re now invited to belong to it.” – N.T. Wright
