In John 12:46, Jesus declares, “I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.” Darkness can represent many things—fear, doubt, sin, or struggles we try to hide. But no matter what kind of darkness we face, Jesus offers something greater: Himself. He doesn’t just bring light; He is the light. And when we step into His presence, the things that once overwhelmed us lose their power.

Seeking Jesus requires more than just curiosity—it requires action. The people in this passage didn’t just wonder about Jesus; they actively sought Him out. In the same way, we are called to pursue Him daily, surrounding ourselves with a community that encourages our faith. But following Jesus also comes with sacrifice. Living for Him means choosing a different path than the world offers, one that may not always be easy but leads to true life.

So, where do you need Jesus’ light to shine? Are there areas in your life you’ve kept hidden—fears, habits, or wounds you haven’t surrendered to Him? The good news is that no darkness is too great for His light. Jesus isn’t waiting for you to have it all figured out; He simply invites you to come.
