Peaceful Promises: 10 Days in the PsalmsSample

Whom Shall I Fear?
I remember the first time I had to speak in front of a large audience. My heart pounded, my hands trembled, and I wondered why I agreed to do this in the first place. As I walked onto the stage, I whispered a desperate prayer: "Lord, help me." Immediately, I felt a sense of calm wash over me.
Fear is powerful, but Psalm 27 reminds us that God is stronger than anything we fear. When we keep our eyes on Him, fear loses its grip. The Lord is our light, our salvation, our stronghold—there is no need to be afraid.
Prayer: Father, when fear creeps in, remind me that You are my light and salvation. Help me rest in Your peace. Amen.
