Drawing Closer: An Everyday Guide for LentSample

Day 20 - Follow the Cross
God really cares about forgiveness. The cross is all about this! Jesus died so that we could be forgiven.
He then asks us to do the same.
Put yourself in this parable today. We have been forgiven of so much! An impossible debt that we could never have paid.
How do we now respond to others who sin against us? Do we show grace and mercy and extend God’s forgiveness? Or are we like the servant who refused to forgive others and acted unjustly, ungratefully and ultimately wickedly?
We cannot claim to follow or love Jesus, to know the value of the cross, if we do not go out and do the same. How does your life reflect the cross today?
