We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample

Day 85 of 365
In Deuteronomy 6, the command to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength” calls us into a devotion that encompasses every area of our lives. This love is not a fleeting feeling but a transformative commitment that aligns our lives with God’s desires. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live out this love in everything we do, helping us to honor God not just with words but through our actions, attitudes, and priorities.
In Luke 3, John the Baptist calls people to repentance, urging them to prepare their hearts for the Lord. The Spirit draws us into this same repentance, refining our love for God so it becomes deeper, stronger, and unshakeable—a love rooted in humility and reverence.
Today, ask the Spirit to help you love God wholeheartedly. Surrender every part of your life to Him, allowing the Spirit to shape your actions, words, and thoughts so that they reflect a deep and sincere devotion to the One who loves you beyond measure.
