We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample

Day 75 of 365
In Numbers 15, God outlines offerings to atone for unintentional sins, revealing His mercy even in our shortcomings. In contrast, Numbers 16 shows rebellion as Korah challenges God’s chosen leadership, resulting in judgment. Yet, even in His justice, God extends mercy to those who turn back to Him.
Similarly, in Mark 14, Peter denies Jesus three times, despite his earlier promise of loyalty. Overcome with shame, Peter weeps bitterly, but his failure becomes a turning point. Through Jesus’ forgiveness, Peter is restored to lead the early church. The Holy Spirit works the same way in us, transforming failures into opportunities for growth and renewal.
These passages remind us that failure isn’t final. God’s mercy meets us in our brokenness and calls us to return with repentant hearts.
Today, invite the Holy Spirit to reveal areas where you need His mercy. Trust His grace to restore and strengthen you.
