Know God's Power and See His GlorySample

GOD IS GOD Even though we have been created in God's image to glorify Him, God is God and we are not. God is the all-powerful creator, and we are the created. We are to reflect His rule and reign, but we are not God. Read Genesis 1:26-28. The beasts, the birds, and the fish were all created after their own kind. What image was mankind to reflect? Psalm 100:3 declares, "Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture" (ESV). As you pray today, include the confession, 'God is God and I am not.' We need to affirm this truth in our hearts, our minds, and our souls. Declaring His might helps us comprehend this important truth and take it to heart. Prayerfully read Psalm 68. Then recite Psalm 29:1-2 in your head and in your heart in faith.
