God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 2)Sample

Colossians – Day 5
I don’t know about you, but my morning prayer usually sounds like, “Oh, God, get me through this day.” According to Colossians 4, Paul asked God for opportunities to share the good news of Jesus and the right words for each person.
How would our day change if we had that attitude? Maybe we’d see that rude customer as a mom who’s just trying to polish off a few errands before her kids melt down. Maybe we’d understand that pompous coworker has always struggled with feeling worthless and needs to prove he has value. Maybe that neighbor who stirs up drama is triggered by a childhood trauma.
Let’s ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to the people around us who desperately need Jesus and for the words to share the truth and hope we have in our hearts.
