God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 2)Sample

James – Day 5
Have you ever looked at a seemingly hopeless situation and said, “Well, the only thing we can do now is pray?” Many of us are guilty of viewing prayer as a last-ditch effort to solve a problem after we’ve exhausted all our other options. It’s something we do when we feel there is nothing else we can do.
This is a faulty view of prayer. Prayer should be our first and most important plan of action, not a final resort. When we pray, we’re not speaking into thin air or just putting “good thoughts” into the atmosphere. We are communicating directly with the All-Powerful, All-Loving Creator of the Universe who works all things together for our good and His Glory. While it’s not always a yes, He hears and answers all our prayers.
Today, choose to pray big prayers to an even bigger God because prayer changes things!
