An Extra Extra ChristmasSample

The King’s Refuge
Even as a baby, Jesus faced hardship and displacement, reminding us that He understands the struggles and challenges of life. His family fled to Egypt to escape King Herod’s threat, which shows that God’s plan doesn’t always unfold in smooth, easy paths. But even in those difficult circumstances, God’s purpose was being fulfilled. Jesus’ time in Egypt was a fulfillment of prophecy, showing that even when things seem uncertain or scary, God is still at work. If you feel unsettled or out of place in your own life, you can trust that Jesus understands and offers you hope and refuge. His journey reminds us that God’s faithfulness remains constant, even in the midst of difficulty.
Questions:
1. How does knowing Jesus experienced hardship help you trust Him?
2. Where do you feel unsettled in life, and how can you find rest in God?
3. How can God’s faithfulness to protect Jesus remind you of His faithfulness to you?
