Dear people, something has radically changed; we are now ‘born of God.’

After the ‘fall’ of Adam and Eve, who were ‘born of God’ themselves but died spiritually after the fall of man, people were only born of blood, flesh, and the will of a man.

Not born of God but out of man.

But what happened when you accepted Jesus? See John 1:12-13

John 1:12-13

‘But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.’

You’re reading it correctly; we are now no longer ‘natural, carnal’ children but ‘supernatural, spiritual’ children!

And because we are now born of God and so have become children of God, you should no longer ‘see’ yourself as that old man that you were before Christ.

He no longer lives; he is dead. Christ lives in you (Galatians 2:20).

You ‘were’ a slave to sin, and you ‘were’ a slave of the god of this world.

But now you are no longer a slave, but a son (Galatians 4:6-7).

You now have received the spirit of ‘sonship’ which calls: ‘ABBA! Father!’

You are now a son or a daughter of God; that’s why you call out ‘Father’ to Him! That is who you are now; it is your true identity in Christ.

Beloved child of the Most High!

You now belong to God; you are the bride of Christ.

With you, your ‘true identity’ doesn’t lie in what you ‘have’ or in what you ‘do’, which most people let their identity depend on, but in who you ‘are’. You now ‘are’ a child of God!

A child of the king!

That is amazing news!

I am not what people say or think of me.

I am also not what I think of myself if that which I think is not in line with the Word of God.

I am who God says that I am. That is an identity that cannot be shaken.
